POEM OF THE MONTH - ARCHIVE

LOVE at a LOSS(1)

Tell me
where you were
when you found love
What was the street name
Was it just lying there
Did you stumble across it
Had it perhaps been dropped
carelessly from
a pocket or handbag or wallet.

Poem Love at a Loss Cryon
Tell me
what love looked like
When you came face-to-face
with it
Was it smiling, the biggest and sunniest of smiles
Was it pensive or staring through you
Did it wear make up
favour high fashion or
was it casual,
turning up in t-shirt and jeans.
